Vladimiros Peilivanidis
Policy research specialist, strategic adviser, future-trends analyst, working for several work groups of the European Commission.
Vladimiros Peilivanidis studied at Delta College in Thessaloniki to become a Music Technology Expert, Sound Engineer, and Sound Analyst in 2010, from where he joined the Transits Division of the Hellenic Army as an Advanced Surveillance Systems Operator, specifically a Thales Group SA BORA-550 Land Surveillance Radar System and got a relevant military diploma in 2012. Before the entering the DLT and industry 4.0 scene, Peilivanidis was actively working as a musical artist, recording artist, and sound engineer for various European, and American record labels. Instant Teleportation Process Detected While In Progress is a “313-inspired” electro project run by Heinz Kammler, a moniker for Vladimiros Peilivanidis, active between the years 2014-2017 in Greece and the broader European area. The project was highly inspired by Drexciyan electronics, more specifically by Gerald Donald who is also a close friend and affiliate of Peilivanidis. The two parties Herr H. Mueller (Donald) and Herr H. Kammler (Peilivanidis) consulted on a regular basis during the period 2015-2018, exchanging edge intelligence regarding various political, religious, scientific, and philosophical aspects among other topics. Peilivanidis had an interesting relationship with what we are referring to as “time”, hence the “weird” project name and the “food-for-thought”-themed track titles such as “We will be there yesterday” and “Taking an already taken decision”. After a series of releases on outlets such as the Dutch Frustrated Funk and UK’s Lobster Theremin, and brokntoys, Vladimiros thought he had enough with the music industry and focused on joining the fourth industrial revolution that’s around the corner, leaving everyone who just started to discover and enjoy his musical creations with a complaint. During his residency in Rotterdam between 2015-2017, Vladimiros had the opportunity to meet, learn from, exchange ideas, and work with various industrial titans including IBM, Thales Group, and several DARPA-related private military projects. That led to his early involvement with the cutting-edge technology (hi-tech) scene, and more specifically distributed ledger technologies (DLTs) or commonly referred to as “blockchain” technology through IBM’s Hyperledger platform. Being very scholastic and persistent about his vision of the future, Vladimiros managed to draw the attention of several major financial journals like CCN.com and Hacked.com where he had the chance to posit research material, and opinion articles under the moniker "Ross Peili" about artificial intelligence, VR/AR/PR/R, blockchain, internet of things (iot), cryptocurrencies, eGovernment, and other concepts that most of us would consider as “Sci-fi” material or at least too-far fetched to be relevant nowadays. Luckily, not everyone was as narrow-minded as most of us, as Peilivanidis is now a member of the EU Commission’s Futurium, where he shares ideas, concepts and research material in several work groups of the commission including the European Ai Alliance, the eGovernment4EU, Future Planning, and Next Generation Internet (NGI). Today, being back in Thessaloniki, Vladimiros started a company in order to upscale his hometown into a modern smart city, using IoT, 5G networks, sophisticated hardware and international IoT standards. There might be no time for musical creations at the moment, but Vladimiros Peilivanidis is working hard to translate his “interesting” track titles into physical reality. contact Vladimiros at [email protected] – “feel free to contact me and exchange intel regarding the future” – “musical inquiries won’t be taken as a priority”. short bio by Clara Renick
