In October 2017, I was invited to contribute as Chief Communications Officer to a crypto/blockchain-based e-commerce startup, Plaza Systems, which is positioned at the intersection of lifestyle and technology. My professional background is in publishing and corporate & marketing communications in the lifestyle, property, travel & tourism, not-for-profit, and economic development sectors. Highlights include conceiving and supervising the development of a tourism website that won an international award, being part of a communications team lauded for its responses to humanitarian disasters and industry crises, and rejuvenating a community newspaper in Western Australia.
